What You Leave Behind by 7Sins7 What You Leave Behind by 7Sins7
Can she still be saved?
Would you try?
Would you leave her behind?
Would you come back for her?
Or were you the one that killed her?

Wanted to do something Sci-Fi for a change and this came to mind. An image probably inspired by Mass Effect 2 which I finished playing recently.

I'm rarely totally happy with my own work but I really like this one. It has the emotional depth, visual impact and 'untold story' feel to it that I often wish I had the imagination to create but rarely seem to. Having said that, it will probably turn out that no one likes it and I will go back to doing scantily clad barbarian ladies with impressive cleavage, haha. We shall see!

Many thanks as always for any comments and faves

Very good art. Although it is hardly a wonder that she is dying here. I mean the situation was dangerous enough that the other person wore armor like that, and she enters combat wearing... well... again no wonder she was injured/killed. :D

Can she still be saved? No.
Would you try? No.
Would you leave her behind? Yes.
Would you come back for her? No. Too dark skin :p
Or were you the one that killed her? Nah, I don't kill innocents (?) for uglity (?). xD

Dude this is pretty good. The suit kinda looks like dead space and the girl like the new isabelle in dragon age 2. Very nice with a definitely mass effect feel.

Was she shot, killed or just not too bright, and forgot her helmet....? ;-)

I like it, it's so emotional. I'm often a bit peewed that there's no emotional cathegory within the 3D scenes tree, I think it's a great example of an emotional work!

Excellent render. Very clear/crisp detail! I swear that looks like a "Tripping the Rift" dress there! O.o :)

Having read your description I feel it's particular important for me to say this: I don't usually like sci-fi at all but this picture is very appealing to me. So you must have done something right haha!

I love the unfinished feel of the story told by this piece. Technically speaking it is also quite excellent and I love the richness of the environment and how they emphasize the scene unfolding. Fantastic work, I would encourage you to continue experimenting in this sci-fi style.

As a Sci-Fi junkie, this, frankly, gave me a Nerd-Boner. Really, really fantastic work here. I love the detail on all the set pieces, and the characters in particular look amazing. Truthfully, I thought the inspiration/setting for this piece might have been the Star Wars EU as the Trooper here has the appearance of a Republic Commando. The fashion on the woman as well as an almost Imperial Agent kind of vibe.
:stormtrooper:

I thought maybe the Commando had been forced to shoot the Agent as she fired from the shadows, only to realize in horror upon coming to her body that she was, perhaps, someone from his past, or even a woman he had recently come to know/fallen for. Oh, how I love it. Your Art Pieces always get the imagination going.

Very nice work--as always.

And the question remains, who killed her... nicely done...
