2010

"The year we make contact"

Such was the subtitle of the 1984 film 2010, sequel to the 1968 film 2001, both based on books by Arthur C. Clarke.

Funny that books and films depict us flying around in spaceships by 2010, and yet here we are, very much stuck to the planet Earth.
